Welcome to Sudoku PlaySolve ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by PLAYSOLVE.in. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy.
2. Information We Collect
Sudoku PlaySolve is designed to work entirely on-device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). Specifically:
- All puzzle progress is stored locally on your device using on-device storage only.
- Photos taken or selected via the Scan feature are processed entirely on-device using ML Kit's on-device text recognition and are never uploaded to any server.
- We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal details.
3. Advertising
The App may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. Google's advertising SDK may collect certain device identifiers and usage information to serve relevant ads in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalised ads through your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising).
4. Analytics
We do not currently use any third-party analytics SDK. If this changes in a future update, this policy will be revised and the effective date updated.
5. Camera & Photo Access
The App requests camera permission solely to let you scan a physical Sudoku puzzle. Images are processed in memory and are never saved by the App beyond the duration of the scan session.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because no personal data is collected at all, there is no additional risk to younger users.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
